Dr Seuss is the main author we will be looking at this half term.
His first early reader, The Cat in The Hat published in 1957
starts like this:
This is exactly what the weather was like this Friday.
And just like in the book we still made it fun.
Ask your children all the things we got up to.
I hope they enjoyed the day as much as I did.
